I'm not picky. My general likes are only suggestions of tropes that I seek out often. As long as it doesn't violate my DNWs and I get to see my ship together, I want to see it. I have ship-specific thoughts below, but they're only ideas and ramblings.
General Likes:
This is a general list of things that I normally enjoy. It is by no means all-inclusive and you're welcome to deviate as long as it doesn't involve my DNWs.
Non-con or sexual harassment of any kind (CNC and dubious consent, as stated in likes, are fine)
Major character death, especially within the requested pairing
Terminal illness or cognitive degradation
A/B/O, pregnancy, or abortion
Any ending other than HEA or HFN for requested ships
"Gender-swapping" (trans headcanons are okay)
Harm of animals or children
First or second POV
Character bashing, especially of female character
Third-party POV, unless voyeurism is a purpose of the fic
Sexuality that amounts to "Gay for You", bisexual erasure
OCs unless they're filling a gap in canon (like a character's parents that we know nothing about) or take up very little space (like a bartender)
Homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, ableism, acephobia
Self-harm or eating disorders
Excessive use of epithets (the blond, the brunette, the younger brother, etc)
Slut-shaming outside of a consensual sexual situation
Smut DNW:
Non-sexual bodily fluids in a sexual context (i.e. no watersports, scat, vomiting, etc)
BDSM that isn't safe, sane, and consensual (under-negotiated is fine, as is safe word use)
Gags or gimp masks (improvised gags like a tie pushed into someone's mouth are okay)
Anal sex without prep and lube
Chainsaw Man - Aki/Angel
I just *clenches fists* love them so much. Canon can fuck right off but I'll love anything that's canon divergence or entirely AU. The fact that Angel can't touch Aki or he'll, you know, steal his life is RIPE for jealousy over people who can touch Aki without worrying about it. They've just been through a lot and they deserve nice things damn it. And by "nice things" in this case I mean to be massively possessive over each other.
Shadow & Bone - Nikolai/Dominik
There simply isn't enough content for these two in the world. I'm fine with anything that explores their backstory together or the events of the show. Bodyguard AU. Royalty AU where Nikolai's right to the throne isn't in question. Or even Nikolai as Sturmhond.
Lycoris Recoil - Mika/Shinji
I'm a little bit obsessed with these two and how they came to be. I'd love to see something set in the past, before the events of the show, before their relationship went cold--or after their relationship went cold and how they dealt with that (poorly, I imagine)!
Kingsman - Harry/Merlin
I really love the dynamic of two very competent men finding each other later in life. Their positions as Kingsmen also lend well to protective behavior that crosses the line into possessive and various situations that would cause jealousy, like undercover missions where the other one has to listen in to provide back-up.
Tokyo Revengers - Draken/Mikey
A confession on this one: I haven't read the manga and I've only watched random episodes of the anime so do whatever you want with canon and I won't even notice. Love loyalty to the point of obsession and two people that would both die for the other. Also open to AUs where Draken is Mikey's bodyguard.
Les Mis - Enjolras/Grantaire
I'm open to any sort of AU where Grantaire is an artist and Enjolras is his muse, whatever else brings them together. I don't know what else to say about them because I feel like Grantaire's obvious loyalty to Enjolras in spite of everything speaks for itself.
