Fun fact about this show, my wife's watched it multiple times all the way through. While I'm fairly certain I've seen the whole thing by this point, I've never watched it in sequence. It's always been bits and pieces here and there. Watching rich people cause their own demise isn't really my thing, but it's a great show and I'm in love with Verna.
I also keep poking at Madeline/Verna. It's the fucking kiss and the way Verna loves to call her "my Cleopatra." My brain just wants to pick that up and run away with it. I'm open to basically anything, including ritual sex interpretations, Madeline trying an unorthodox method to convince Verna not to collect, Madeline in an afterlife, or even Madeline succeeding at creating her own AI and Verna carrying it around with her.
This fandom is an exception to my "no permanent MCD" as well. Go ahead and kill Madeline as temporarily or permanently as you like. A deal is a deal, after all.
