I am, in fact, very late to this fandom. I knew going in that Sebastian and Ciel are a popular ship, but I vastly underestimated how quickly I would also be shipping them. It's the inherent eroticism of a demon who obeys your every order while waiting to devour your soul. Also, even with canonically underage Ciel, there's something to the fact that, if there's anything he doesn't want Sebastian to do, all he has to do is order him to stop and Sebastian will stop. I can only imagine how heady that would be in the wake of all that trauma.

- After Ciel's bargain with Undertaker, you know the one where he sends Sebastian outside and then ends up all sweaty and out of breath, Sebastian gets jealous and has to stake his claim.
