They're just so incredibly good together, especially in the ways that their intelligence complements each others' and in the way that Jinshi knows just how much smarter Maomao is than him and he supports her. Whatever she needs. Dyeing the roses was fucking incredible. Figuring out that someone was trying to kill Jinshi and saving his life, even though she didn't know it was him. Maomao's obsession with poisons and the way she's repelled by Jinshi's usual charms. Maomao dancing on the wall and Jinshi catching her from falling.
Ugh I love them so much. I'm also obsessed with the fact that Maomao grew up in a brothel so she knows how to fuck even though she's probably never done it herself. I'd love to see Jinshi being all sweet and gentle trying to take her virginity and she just pulls out every trick she knows and takes him apart.
