I'm not picky. My general likes are only suggestions of tropes that I seek out often. As long as it doesn't violate my DNWs and I get to see my ship together, I want to see it. I have ship-specific thoughts below, but they're only ideas and ramblings and, in this case, mostly me trying to avoid saying, "Idk I thought it sounded hot."
General Likes:
This is a general list of things that I normally enjoy. It is by no means all-inclusive and you're welcome to deviate as long as it doesn't involve my DNWs.
Non-con or sexual harassment of any kind (CNC and dubious consent, as stated in likes, are fine)
Major character death, especially within the requested pairing
Terminal illness or cognitive degradation
A/B/O, pregnancy, or abortion
Any ending other than HEA or HFN for requested ships
"Gender-swapping" (trans headcanons are okay)
Harm of animals or children
First or second POV
Third-party POV, unless voyeurism is a purpose of the fic
Sexuality that amounts to "Gay for You", bisexual erasure
OCs unless they're filling a gap in canon (like a character's parents that we know nothing about) or take up very little space (like a bartender)
Homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, ableism, acephobia
Self-harm or eating disorders
Excessive use of epithets (the blond, the brunette, the younger brother, etc)
Slut-shaming outside of a consensual sexual situation
Use of AI generation of any kind
Sexual content with characters under 16 (aging them up is fine)
Smut DNW:
Non-sexual bodily fluids in a sexual context (i.e. no watersports, scat, vomiting, etc)
BDSM that isn't safe, sane, and consensual (under-negotiated is fine, as is safe word use)
Gags or gimp masks (improvised gags like a tie pushed into someone's mouth are okay)
Anal sex without prep and lube
Vespertine - Artemisia/The Revenant
I just finished reading this in the last week at the time of writing this and all I know is that I want more. I have a terrible weakness for non-human beings struggling with human feelings and learning about humans. I love it. I love "I don't care about you, but if you die then where would I be" when they're trying to hide how much they really do care. I'm into any timeline with this one--during canon, post-canon, an AU. I'd love to see Artemisia trying to be domestic and the Revenant just being like "Do we have to?"
Dogma - Bartleby/Loki
I don't really know what I'm doing here, but after all the time those two spent together, you can't tell me they never thought about it. I don't care if they're angels.
Dogma - Bethany Sloane/God
I love Dogma's interpretation of God. She's amazing and I'd love to see more of her with Bethany.
Critical Role - Erathis/Melora
I just want to know MORE ABOUT THEM. I wouldn't mind a more in-depth look at how they created humanity together, but I'd also just like to see these two goddesses out there being together.
Critical Role - The Raven Queen/Vax'ildan
I thought it would be hot. Sue me. I'd love to see pre-death Vax or post-death Vax. Maybe he needs to prove his loyalty to the Raven Queen or maybe he really does develop feelings for her after being her Champion for many years.
Critical Role - Zerxus/Asmodeus
I'd like to see something with Zerxus dreaming early-on of Asmodeus or exploring just how far Zerxus is willing to go to bring Asmodeus around.
Critical Role - Zerxus/Evandrin
I wish we knew more about them. I want to see it all and I'm more than open to AUs for them, whether canon divergence or entirely different universes, as long as it still fits with the theme of the exchange.
Lucifer - Lucifer/Marcus Pierce
I wasn't the biggest fan of the writing of the show with Cain and I think we were ROBBED of the relationship between these two. They have such an interesting dynamic and I wish that was explored with more depth. Wing fic is highly encouraged.
