I'm not picky. My general likes are only suggestions of tropes that I seek out often. As long as it doesn't violate my DNWs and I get to see my ship together, I want to see it. I have ship-specific thoughts and prompts below, but they're only ideas and ramblings.
General Likes:
This is a general list of things that I normally enjoy. It is by no means all-inclusive and you're welcome to deviate as long as it doesn't involve my DNWs.
Non-con or sexual harassment of any kind (CNC and dubious consent, as stated in likes, are fine)
Major character death, especially within the requested pairing
Terminal illness or cognitive degradation
A/B/O, pregnancy, or abortion
Any ending other than HEA or HFN for requested ships
"Gender-swapping" (trans headcanons are okay)
Harm of animals or children
First or second POV
Third-party POV, unless voyeurism is a purpose of the fic
Bisexual erasure ("Gay for You" tropes, jumping right to gay/lesbian labels even though character has canonical opposite sex relationships)
Slurs, identity-based bullying (making fun of someone for being gay or Black), using feminization or "girl" as an insult or humiliation tactic
Self-harm or eating disorders
Slut-shaming outside of a consensual sexual situation
Bestiality and/or sex with shifter characters while shifted
Use of AI generation of any kind
Smut DNW:
Non-sexual bodily fluids in a sexual context (i.e. no watersports, scat, vomiting, etc)
BDSM that isn't safe, sane, and consensual (under-negotiated is fine, as is safe word use)
Gags or gimp masks (improvised gags like a tie pushed into someone's mouth are okay)
Anal sex without prep and lube
Explicit sexual content with characters under 16 (aging them up is fine)
Fandom Specific
Mika and Shinji two were basically married before they're differing ideals tore them apart. I'd love to see their early days explored, before Chisato. Back when they were stealing nights in hotel rooms and kissing in alleys.
She-ra - Bow/Sea Hawk
-potato Simpsons gif- I just think they're neat. They have a fun dynamic with Sea Hawk's confidence and Bow's intelligence.
The Bright Sessions - Mark/Damien
Damien's "Honey, I'm home!" awakened something in me and it was this ship. In canon, I'd love to see a redemption arc for Damien and Mark getting the happiness he deserves. There's also lots of room for a "No Powers" AU and I'd be curious to see how an entirely different upbringing would change Damien.
Knives Out - Benoit/Phillip
We only see Phillip for five seconds, but I want to know everything about him and his relationship with Benoit. What does he do when he's not trapped at home with his sourdough starter? How'd they meet? Does he help with Benoit's cases at all or is he happy to listen to him rambling as he tries to work out the puzzle?
The Tarot Sequence - Mayan/Lord Tower, Rune/Addam
I would really love to see more of the domestic lives of these two pairings. The books are wonderful but SO MUCH happens and we don't get to see the quieter side of the relationships. Mayan and Lord Tower are two powerful people, but what is their relationship like behind closed doors? What do Rune and Addam do when they're not constantly getting pulled into danger? Alllllll the fluff (and maybe also the smut).
For Rune/Addam, don't feel like you have to ignore Rune's trauma because of my non-con DNW, but please focus on his PTSD in the present. Canon goes into enough detail of the events.
Moriarty the Patriot - Louis/William, Mycroft/Albert
I'm currently watching this anime so these characters are living rent-free in my head. I love Louis/William (especially when they're so in sync when they fight), but also Mycroft/Albert. There's something about the level of trust that Albert and Mycroft place in each other, even though they don't know each other well, and the dynamic of two older brothers that would do anything for their younger brothers.
