Fandom: Downton Abbey

dotytakethisdownI have a complicated relationship with Downton Abbey in that I made it exactly one episode past Matthew's death, cried through most of it, and decided to take a break for a while. Then I found out what happens with Anna, and what happens with Thomas, and I refused to come back. However, that didn't stop me from reading the summary of the series finale and also the first movie. I was working on a Thomas/OMC letter that boiled down to "I just want Thomas to be happy for fuck's sake" so imagine my surprise when I looked up his wiki page to remind myself of some old details and discovered that, as of the second movie, he is.
I've watched the scenes of Thomas and Guy in the movie and it isn't enough. I want to see how their relationship develops in America, away from the prying eyes of a full household. I want to see Thomas finally get to be happy and in love with someone who can actually love him back.
